Maverick Families,

We are seeing a high number of tardy students. We want to work on improving our percentage rate of students being on time, so our teachers can provide the full academic time for the students to be successful in all their classes. Starting November 29, 2021, guardians will be asked to come in the office to student sign in and to provide documentation for the reason of their student’s tardy. We greatly appreciate your assistance in this area to help your student be successful.

Annual Title One Meetings

We will be hosting our 21-22 Annual Title One Meetings soon and would like to see you in one of the two meetings.  Our first meeting will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 5:00 PM in the cafeteria (snacks will be available).  The second meeting is on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 9:30 AM (snacks will be available).  We hope to see you there.  Please contact Ms Brandi at 713-842-5612 if you should have any questions.  

Annual Thanksgiving Teacher Luncheon 

Our Maverick Family Association Annual Thanksgiving Staff/Teacher luncheon is back and will be happening on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Our teachers and staff are excited to hear about the  Annual  MFA Thanksgiving Luncheon and can't wait to taste your delicious dishes.  If you would like to bring food or make a donation, please contact Ms. Brandi at 713-842-5612.  

Fall Festival

Mavericks Families, it’s time for our biggest event of the year, our 2021 Fall Festival! This year we are celebrating with food, games, music and lots of fun. Our Fall Festival will be November 12^th from 5:00-8:30pm. Younger siblings are welcomed with parents. Students must have their ID to enter.  We hope to see you there!
